Who This Is For

At RC Muscle & Movement, we provide movement-led musculoskeletal (MSK) support for people dealing with recurring tightness, stiffness, overworked areas and movement that feels harder than it should.

Rather than looking at one area in isolation, we consider how your muscles, joints, soft tissues, daily routines and physical demands may be influencing how your body feels.

What MSK Means

What MSK Means

MSK stands for musculoskeletal.

In plain English, this refers to the parts of the body involved in movement, support and physical demand, including:

  • muscles

  • joints

  • soft tissues

  • how different areas work together

  • how the body responds to everyday load

At RC Muscle & Movement, we use movement-led MSK support to understand how these areas may be contributing to recurring tightness, stiffness, restriction or discomfort.

This does not automatically mean something is damaged.

Often, it reflects how the body is responding to a mix of workload, repeated positions, stress, training, recovery and everyday physical demands.

What Is Movement-Led MSK Support?

Movement-led MSK support is a practical way of looking at how muscles, joints, soft tissues and movement are working together.

At RC Muscle & Movement, this sits within our Sports Therapy and soft-tissue scope. We do not diagnose medical conditions, but we do assess movement, listen to what has been happening, and help identify what may be contributing to recurring tightness, stiffness, restriction or discomfort.

Support may include movement-focused assessment, hands-on treatment, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and practical guidance.

The aim is not to overcomplicate things.

It is to help you understand what may be contributing and choose the most appropriate next step.

Understanding how your body is moving helps us decide what type of support is likely to be most useful.

Rather than focusing only on the area that feels uncomfortable, we look at how muscles, joints, soft tissues, movement and everyday physical demands may be interacting.

Depending on what you need, support may include:

Everything has a purpose.

The aim is not to make things more complicated, but to provide straightforward support that helps you understand what may be contributing and what next step makes sense.

How RCMM Approaches MSK Support

Most people who visit RC Muscle & Movement are not dealing with a major sports injury.

They are looking for support with everyday musculoskeletal problems affecting muscles, joints, soft tissues and movement.

These issues often build gradually through work, sitting, training, stress, repeated positions, recovery and changing physical demands.

That is why our movement-led Sports Therapy approach looks at how the body is responding as a whole, rather than only focusing on the area that feels uncomfortable.

The aim is practical support that helps you understand what may be contributing, improve comfort and decide what type of support makes sense.

Why Everyday MSK Problems Matter

The Best Place to Start

If something keeps returning, feels unclear, or seems to involve more than one area, a Movement & Function Assessment is usually the best first step.

This appointment gives you time to talk through what has been happening, explore how your body is moving, and decide what type of support makes the most sense.

You’ll leave with clearer understanding, practical next steps and realistic guidance that fits everyday life.

A clear note about scope

RCMM provides movement-focused MSK and soft-tissue support. If something appears outside the most appropriate scope for your session, we’ll explain clearly and help guide you toward the right next step.
